Commissions

Commissions also feature quite highly in my painting repertoire and I have produced many paintings in a variety of mediums from pastel portraits of people and pets, to acrylic and watercolour paintings of people's houses.

Illustration work for tourism and conservation bodies is also an area I am involved in and have produced booklets and tour guides for these organisations. I have also produced many signs and exhibitions for display both inside and out and painted a 16 foot aerial view of Jersey's north coast.

This view of Chaceley Church was painted for Marion's husband Tony, who really liked the view from the fields opposite. Only a few weeks later the Severn broke its banks again and this time the water rose well above the churchyard walls.

This view of Brockworth Court and Church was painted for my exhibition invites. The exhibition was held in the magnificent Tythe Barn at Brockworth Court.

The day I went to visit Tony and Marion at their home in Chaceley the River Severn was in full flood and the road beside the church was under water. This is the view of their side garden.

Ania contacted me as she wanted something a little different as a present for some friends and decided a painting of their pet spaniel would fit the bill. While her friends were on holiday we visited the boarding kennels and I took a series of photos from which to paint from.

Pam wanted a painting of the Finca in Spain and it just happened that I had just the right view of the place. This is the view of the courtyard gate leading into the Finca and was taken from the hillside just above the property.

Malcolm commissioned me to paint his four grand children together in one painting. Rather than using pastel I used water colour this time.
